The Keeper’s Kitchen Inn is a unique coastal getaway approximately mid-way along Newfoundland’s Irish Loop. Our inn blends cozy accommodations with gourmet, story-filled meals inspired by local heritage and global travels — all designed to nourish both body, mind and spirit.
Where are you located?
We’re located on the Irish Loop in St. Shotts, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada — a scenic region known for rugged coastlines, rich culture and outdoor adventure.
The Drive:
The journey to St. Shotts is a scenic adventure in itself. As you approach, the landscape transforms from lush forested areas to the spectacular barrens and marshlands as you get nearer to St. Shotts. Take your time, enjoy the views, and be mindful of local wildlife. Roadsides are where the caribou and moose often roam.
The Directions:
St. Shotts is located on the southern tip of the Avalon Peninsula. From St. John's, you have two options - the eastern side of the Irish Loop (Route 10 - the Southern Shore Highway) south or the
western side of the Irish Loop (Route 90 through Salmonier and St. Mary’s Bay) south.
The drive both ways offers breathtaking coastal beauty and is approximately 2 hours drive (a little less on the western side) Both routes will get you to us - we are located approximately mid-way on the Irish Loop, at the southern tip.
