Outside Adventure: Foraging Feast

Service Description

Embark on a guided foraging experience and discover the culinary potential of the local landscape. Learn about edible plants native to Newfoundland, their medicinal properties, several ways to preserve them and incorporate them into your cooking repertoire. Lunch is also included. The ground we will cover is not difficult or elevated terrain, but one must be able to walk on beach rocks. Hiking boots are not required, but may be beneficial in stabilizing foot/ankle when walking on marshlands and barrens. This activity will take approximately 2.5 hrs and is also open to participants who are NOT house guests at The Keeper's Kitchen Inn. Please contact Michelle to check availability.
